Simple Indian Almond - Carrot Cooking Recipe
Ingredients :-
- Eggs - 4
- Powdered sugar - 1 cup
- Carrots finely grated - 1 1/2 cups
- Maida / all purpose flour - 1 cup
- Vanilla essense - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Almonds lightly toasted finely ground - 1 cup
- Baking powder - 1 tbsp
- Raisins - 2 tbsp
- Cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- Vegetable Oil / Vanaspathi / Dalda - 3 tbsp
- Butter / Ghee - 1 tbsp
Simple Indian Almond - Carrot Cake Cooking Recipe
Method :-
- Preheat the oven to 350. Spread little butter on the bottom of the 8" springform pan.
- Spread little maida on the pan and shake off excess. Beat the eggs with sugar for 5 minutes.
- Stir in Carrots,baking powder and Vanilla.
- Add the salt and stir well.
- Combine raisins,almonds,cinnamon, and vegetable oil. Stir well.
- Add the maida little -little and mix well.
- Add the remaining butter / ghee and stir well.
- Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
- Put the mixture into pan , smoothing top.
- Bake the cake about 1 hour.
- Let it cool and serve it.
